Sometimes, one listing leads to another transaction. In this case, a purchase! And I couldn’t be happier.
I listed a wonderful 5-acre property in Paauilo Mauka on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island. We are in escrow with a local family who owns a great business in Waimea. Escrow is set to close early August. Although the seller and immediate family members are moving back to the mainland, Tutu wanted to invest in a home for her adult grandson. When I met him and his beautiful girlfriend, I realized I had met him a few years back at our local feed store. He made an impression on me!
As we toured this adorable camp home and property it became very clear that they loved it and that it would offer them a chance to eventually switch from family “renters” to “owners.” A bet we all would love to have a Tutu willing to purchase our first home, yes?
So, in representing the buyer, I have the privilege of not only helping her reinvest proceeds from the sale of her Hawaii home, and get the immediate family safely moved to the mainland, but, participate in helping her grandson realize the dream of home ownership. What could be better as a Realtor®? Nothing!!!
