Real estate on the Hamakua Coast continues to be marginal, with new listings down for both residential and land. The good news is that the median days on market for residential sales dropped 87%! If you have a home to sell, be prepared to move if it is priced according to the sold stats.

September is traditionally one of the slowest months for real estate. Island wide, although it may feel like properties are taking longer to sell compared to recent memory, days on the market are actually trending downward, with properties selling in three weeks. Buyers should be ready to act based on lower mortgage interest rates.
