This was exciting! I had sold this property to a wonderful buyer (and his wife), living in CA. But, living in Hawaii turned out to not work for them as a couple, so within just a few weeks he told me he was going to renovate the property and put it BOM. I have to say I was shocked… that had never happened to me before! Throughout the reno process, he was kind enough to send photos of various up-grade options, and I was able to utilize my decorating prowess to his benefit. The end result was so impressive the home received an accepted offer within one day on the market! And, even though he had to pay HARPTA tax because he hadn’t owned the home a full year, he still made enough profit to take his wife out to a lovely, and expensive dinner – LOL!
