The market finally picked up for residential sales on the Hamakua Coast as evidenced by a 75% increase in total sales, and a 47% increase in the median sales price.
These increases represent the highest increases island wide! That is amazing!!! But be aware, dear sellers, the median number of days on market, the length of time it is taking to actually sell these residential properties, has increased to 49 days. A 75% total increase! So some homes will find their new owners in less than 49 days, as evidenced with my listing in Kalopa (in escrow in less than 21 days), while others will take 6 to 12 months. New listings are also up 17%! I am grateful to be a part of the Good News.
