I met the LaBenne ohana in early 2021 through clients who had purchased a beautiful 5-acre parcel from me in Ahualoa. They had a vision of selling their home in Washington State and buying land on the Big Island. We looked at about 4 or 5 lots while they were on-island. And then the waiting began.
The pieces had to fall into place, which took most of 2021. But, as the year drew to a close, and their home went into escrow, they made the oceanic jump and then contacted me. As it seems to go these days, they were the ones who located the perfect property. About ¾ of an acre in Kealakekua…within walking distance to their children’s school, and a short distance from their extended ohana. Patience is a virtue, and in this case, a huge blessing for everyone involved. Welcome home, LaBenne Ohana…welcome home!
